Poverty in Village and Per Capta Income of India.

I live in Delhi and read two business papers and read business magazine and article on Internet. As per statistic, in 2003-04 India per capta income is about 16000 in a year.

For a country like India it looks good and shows that country is prospering.

But when I visited a village in Bihar situation was quite worse. Till one month back this village (Akouna) was deprived of electricity. Once Power Grid installed transformer to supply electricity, it asked one time fee of Rs 800 as connection charge and monthly Rs 75. Only two family in the entire village was capable to pay Rs 800.

Families were not able arrange even Rs 800 for connection. Some families were saying that even if we pay Rs 800 in beginning, how could we able to pay monthly Rs 75 every month.

As they need to pay at least Rs 200 to 300 on phone bill which includes mobile if they have or phone bill in Telephone Booth. In addition to phone bill this will be extra burden.

Now people are looking to stop mobile and phone use.

Even though support price of all crops has increased these farmers are selling their crops to near shopkeepers at half price.

Irony is that no government program, subsidies or reservation helped any family in any way. Lastly people migrated to Delhi and other parts of India to support their livelihood. Only older population are left in villages.

I am not able to find a relation between Per capta income of India and village people.

10 Murder in Bihar, Whose fault?

Last week incidence of 10 murder in Vaishali, Bihar is shameful activity. According to villagers these were thieves and whole community is facing though time because of them. So they killed them on spot. Even if they are right then also no one can justify the killing of 10 people in daylight.

Now question is who is real culprit People who killed them, administration which failed to protect the people, or Judiciary.

Now, why people reacted like this? This is not the first time that villagers are catching the thieves. People has this attitude because they are not seeing any anti social person behind the bar. Every person who get arrested, somehow manage to get bail from the court. And chances is also that he will become political leader and win and take revenge from the person who dared to stand against him at any point of time. So in this case what is the option with people other than taking law in their hand.

On other hand administration failed at every point. In this case police is not clear about their stand. First they said they have recovered cash and jewellery from these thieves. Later on they denied and changed statement. If you believe on police and media they were innocent people.

First Police has never tried to catch the thieves even after numbers of incident reported by villagers. As usual they never file any FIR against those thieves to save their records. That's why there is no records of any robbery and thieves. If they would have punished any of the thieves then this incident would not have happened.

Third side is judiciary. According to me this is the most helpless institution in India. They never set any example by punishing any culprit in very short processing of court hearing. In most of cases they give bail to person. They have adopted such a tedious process that no one wants to go in court.

It looks Local police is more responsible for this, seeing its pre and post incident activity. There was also news that bodies were thrown into river Ganga by police.

Why Not Love Marriage ?

Love, what is this I can't explain. I can't even say it is something or many thing. But it only love with is giving a new sensation in many's live. Someone is saying it love other is saying its a life. I will say love is life it is true whether you accept it or not.

Middle class people dominate the Indian society. Middle class is only section in Indian society which has responsibility for carrying all tradition of Indian society. It is true in all religion, all society. Rich left this tradition because they are ultra modern. Poor left because they can't carry this.

Globalization has also bring love culture in India. I will not discuss whether it is good or bad, but it is its time. A new changes in Indian families is that now they allow their children's to take higher education and prefer professional education. Families are allowing even girls to go for higher study and sending them to boarding schools and permitting them to go at new places for study and job.

So now they are living in a new environment where average people are around 30 and many are not married. So they started taking interest in each others. And here comes the parents.

Same parents which allowed their children's to go for higher education and do jobs now change their ground. I saw many so called modern families who did stop to showing themselves that they are very liberal and modern. But when it comes to marriage they will forget their modern life and become very conservative and orthodox. Parents will start counting problems and will take all possible measures to stop love marriage.

So why not love marriage? Even in some cases, boy and girl lost their lives because of parents. Parents are not ready to listen and understand their children's. They sometimes take such a sever action which ends with some murder and jail.

Parents think that it is their rights to choose spouse for their children's. In some cases, even if children's has choose well settled and same cast partner then also parents will create a lot of objections. They don't have logic except their ego.

When parent find out that their son or daughter is in love, they will suddenly arrange their marriage without looking things in detail. Sometime it success but most of times it finishes with end to some blood relationship.

I don't understand, why to oppose love marriage? After all new children's are adult and it is there moral and legal rights. Parents should try to understand that that now their children are mature enough to take some decision.

Why only Actors and Bureaucrats Not Policitician?

These three are famous, power full and rich. Actors are more famous and every people know about their life. Bureaucrats are power full and rich but have very less people interface, so not know by people at all. But politician in India are very famous, very power full and very rich.


Recently we saw some actors and politician under trial under some act. Politician are above all, as most of the politician are passing through some trial case. Neither people nor politician itself give attention on this.

Recent trail show that high court and Supreme court are giving clean chit to politician. Some time witness turn hostile some time witness died and sometimes CBI failed to produce evidence in final stage. Result is that politician are getting free one after another.


Bombay blast case came to its historical judgement only because there was no politician person was involved in the case. If there would have name of any politician then result would have still with court.


I think Judges are feeling helpless after seeing politician coming and going in front of him and country laws are helpless. In some case it also raising fingers on Judiciary system.

India have and had seen series of scam and every case some politician is involved. But still India has not seen any transparent judgement of any of this case. All are still in trial, some person died and other will die but case will remain as usual.

In cases decision is so unusual and illogical that one can believe and still court is giving this type of judgement. in case of fooder of scam, Patna court gave almost clean chit to Laloo Yadav and other key persons. Now question is where that 10,000 corers of rupee went. Now people are hardly recall Stamp Paper scam.

Because judge and court is so helpless in case of politician that they want to save their reputation with case of film star. After all it is giving court a small land which they lost in battle with politician.
